Been drinking cocktails since college, but have learned so much in the last month from YouTube, specifically Anders Erickson and How to Drink. And I discovered /r/Cocktails, which is great resource for trending drinks and ingredients.
Trying the no app home screen, only widgets. I only had a handful of apps anyway on the home screen, and the Siri suggestions widget.
I’ve gotten used to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, to the point that using the old 11-inch one feels small. Wonder how toy-like the iPad mini is going to feel like.
I played around with Center Stage a bit, and it’s like magic. Can’t wait to try it out during an actual FaceTime call.
Tried out Apple Fitness+ for the first time today, did HIIT with Kim. Harder than my usual workout. Going to try and keep up with it.
Went ahead and ordered up a big iPad Pro too. Trying out Apple Card monthly installments too because why not.

Giving myself screen time app limits on my current time sucks: News, Unread, and Reddit. After one day, I’ve installed Kobo so I can read on the phone instead.
Pretty much took the month of July and August off from logging (exist.io, swarm, gyrosco.pe) and trying to get back into it starting in September. But it’s definitely harder restarting than it was stopping. Not sure what I’m getting out of logging all that info, but I’d rather have the data than not.
Kinda surprised they aren’t pushing more passing skills in Northwinds. Is AYSO Travel teams like AAU and pushing individual skills over teamwork?
Not sure how I feel about hearing the filming for How I Met Your Father just started. I think How I Met Your Mother speaks to me, and I feel this “sequel” will feel foreign to me.

I use Pi-holes at home, and sometimes when I’m trying to unsubscribe from spam, I’m unable to get to the unsubscribe page because it’s blocked by Pi-hole. So to quickly get around it, I connect to ExpressVPN, unsubscribe, and then disconnect. Unexpected benefit.
